Cycling & Mountain Biking

Into the outdoors, from dawn till dusk. This is the unwritten motto for summer stays in St. Anton am Arlberg. Sports activities can be ideally combined with rest and relaxation at a healthy altitude.

Summer days for the body, spirit and soul. Here you find exactly what you are looking for. You just have to take the first step ... and then the next ... and the next.

Certification responsibilities: St. Anton am Arlberg, awarded the Tyrolean Wandergütesiegel (Hiking Seal of Quality) in summer 2001, now also offers a good running and mountain bike network.

A total of ca. 200 kilometres of particularly picturesque tracks await joggers and mountain bikers. All routes are well signposted and designated.

Cycling in the mountains around St. Anton – more than 3,800 kilometres of official mountain bike routes make Tyrol first-class bikers’ territory. St. Anton am Arlberg is of course also part of that. The "Best of the Alps" tourist destination offers particularly attractive routes over a good mountain bike network of approx. 200 kilometres.

All routes are well signposted, designated and a scenic treat!

Race Biking

The birthplace of Alpine skiing… is inspirational even in summer! Specifically for cycling fans from near and far. Against a wonderful Alpine backdrop in an unspoilt natural setting, St. Anton am Arlberg  is not just the perfect stamping ground for bikers, but also creates a perfect starting point for major racing tours.

The starting point at ARLBERG-well.com gives you every opportunity to enjoy shorter or long and demanding routes to the east and west in gorgeous Alpine surroundings.

A tour over Arlberg to Bregenz, a triathlon into the Bregenz forest or scaling the Silvretta high Alpine road are opportunities for exploring our neighbouring province of Vorarlberg.

On the Tyrolean side, the Hahntennjoch Pass and the Pitztal with the Piller-Sattel or the challenging ascent to the Kaunertal Glacier await you, where you can let your happiness hormones have free reign after such an achievement at 2,600m above sea level.

We would recommend our focus weeks in August to anyone who wants a particular kind of support and supervision. Professional racers and experienced guides will accompany you at every stage, show you beautiful scenery and reveal tips and tricks.
You can pour over the routes on our Interaktiven Karte and download useful information.
